OWN YOUR GAME, OWN YOUR FUTURE Scholarship

The Mission Squash Scholarship

Following the proven Urban Squash formula, the Scholarship Program is the flagship of Mission Squash. The program runs every day after school at our purpose-built three court squash and academic facility within Hogg Middle School, in the Heights area of Houston, Texas.

After an extensive tryout process, students awarded a Scholarship are exposed to a minimum of 215 hours of programming every year at no cost. This includes:

  • 100 hours of Academic Tutoring and Enrichment
  • 100 hours of Squash and Fitness
  • 15 hours of Community Service
  • 4 weeks of Summer Camps including squash tuition from World Top 50 players
  • Opportunities to travel to other cities like Boston, Chicago and New York to compete in tournaments
  • Regular fun trips out out of school to the theatre, sports events and more
  • Education opportunities for Parents and Guardians

Welcome the Mission Squash Scholars: Class of 2015-16!

We are pleased to welcome 45 new Scholars to the Mission Squash family! Last fall, we conducted tryouts and PE sessions for over 250 students at Hogg Middle School. From those students, we hand-selected 45 to receive the first Mission Squash Scholarship. We are proud of our new Scholars and look forward to a bright future together.

Three Pillars of Mission Squash

Mission Squash follows the proven Urban Squash formula.  This youth enrichment model focuses on academic tuition, squash training, and community service to foster students who are educated, active, and engaged in their communities.
