The Mission Squash Scholarship

Following the proven Urban Squash formula, the Scholarship Program is the flagship of Mission Squash. The program runs every day after school at our purpose-built three court squash and academic facility within Hogg Middle School, in the Heights area of Houston, Texas.

After an extensive tryout process, students awarded a Scholarship are exposed to a minimum of 215 hours of programming every year at no cost. This includes:

  • 100 hours of Academic Tutoring and Enrichment
  • 100 hours of Squash and Fitness
  • 15 hours of Community Service
  • Opportunities to travel to other cities to compete in tournaments
  • Regular fun trips out out of school to the theatre, sports events and more
  • Education opportunities for Parents and Guardians

PE for Public Schools

The three international-standard squash courts within Hogg Middle School are the first squash courts constructed within a public school in the whole of North America.
With this incredible home advantage, Mission Squash is now able to offer in-school Physical Education courses in Squash: in the academic year 2015-16 alone we tutored over 200 children aged 11-13. Check out the news featured in the Houston Chronicle!
